Global Factory

Broaden engineering and manufacturing practices throughout the world
ENIM (the National Engineering School of Metz in France), using Dassault systèmes software solutions, developed the Global Factory project to design a digital manufacturing plant aiming at producing a car engine.
The project Global Factory enabled students and educators from all over the world to engage in an innovative pedagogical experience. This project brought together, on a joint project, fourth-year engineering undergraduates from eleven schools and universities in nine countries. Thanks to a dedicated online community, the students involved were able to share ideas, ask questions, access online training materials, and more.
