PROJECT TIMELINE
13 degree of freedom (DOF) Prosthetic Arm is designed using Mechanical actuation.Mechanical actuation with linear actuators is used for actuation due to its precision and force. Slider crank mechanisms and four bar mechanisms are used to get required motion from actuators. Force analysis of these mechanisms is performed. Movement form these mechanism is used to get required gestures with needed force.
Designed Prosthetic Arm having 13 DOF gives a user highly flexible movements allowing to perform various gestures with required precision and force. This Prosthetic arm provides a promising possibility of fulfilling missing part of users limb and give normal functional life.
