PROJECT TIMELINE
Commercially available bionic arms are expensive and lack in functionality. We have achieved a bionic arm with 14 degrees of freedom which at the same time will be a cost effective solution to the current scenario. In order to achieve this EMG signal will be extracted using Myo Arm Band. We have used 3D printing technology for light weight and less cost bionic arm. The bionic arm is simulated on the 3D experience platform. Applications such as CATIA Part Design, Assembly Design, Dymola and Simulia are used. 3D printed arm is used to demonstrate the application of brain wave signals. The project is intended to help the amputees with this 3D printed arm.
