PROJECT TIMELINE
This is a project of a FDM 3D printer with the linear delta manipulator kinematics. The main objective of this project was to design a fully functional FDM* 3D printer (a rapid prototyping device). During the design process a lot attention has been drawn to use as many components available on the market as possible. As a result there are only 3 special components. To examine the design, a motion simulation has been carried out with clash detection using a Digital Mockup tool in CATIA V5 R20. The project has been completed and now awaits for a physical realization.
