DRONE UAV P2

The UAV P2 is a surveillance drone that we've imagined for our first year project at the ESILV Paris-La Défense Engineer school (ESILV). It's an autonomous drone which main purpose is to smooth the guard of sensitive natural areas, by overflying and taking pictures of those ones. For instance, the UAV P2 might help to watch the deforestation with lower costs or allow to follow up and count some endangered species.  The 3D Experiences technologies from Dassault Systèmes really helped us in the design of our drone. Especially CATIA (Design, visualization, production processes) and also Abaqus (stress analysis). This project was really rewarding for our team and our studies and we wish to continue it next year to make the first flight of our UAV P2 at the beginning of 2017.
