Team: myGarageZone :- Edwin S Pananthanam, Clavin Rali, Vineeth K, Criss shaji   PROJECT ABSTRACT The hobbyist community always faces a time drag during a project lifetime. This may be due to lack of component availability, faulty hardware or ease of access. A convenient solution would be to setup a machine that can eliminate such drawbacks. This project aims to design and fabricate a 24x7 electronic component lending machine, consisting of a web application for students. The proposed vending machine should be capable of dispensing components at any time of the day with user convenient features such as booking of components online, returning of products after use and easy user interface. The type of component distribution system of the machine was chosen, considering the motion sequence. After mechanism synthesis, suitable electronic control drivers and auxiliary devices were decided. For the web-based inventory management, a back-end and a user interface were designed and developed in the website which is also available as a web application. The available stock information and booking management are all set to be done through this application. The users will be able to access the machine with a unique identification code given during the signup on the website. This machine thus provides a convenient means for accessing a component without any hassle. OBJECTIVE To design and fabricate a vending machine which lends electronic components in SJCET, Palai campus for 24x7. SCOPE OF THE PROJECT  Survey and grouping of frequently used components  Selection of components for distribution as per the size constraints  Lending system selection  Chamber design, material selection and fabrication  Mechanism synthesis, material selection and its fabrication  Exterior designing, material selection and fabrication  Product vending and return system design  Formation of graphical user interface  Formation of calibration matrix  Programming, Circuit designing and custom PCB fabrication  Online web application for inventory and project management  User interface with login page and identification system  Web design and product data base management Detailed design report of the project is attached in this link. Each and every 3D model figures in the report and attached video are made with SOLIDWORKS 2019 student version. Remaining details about design, simulation, results, etc. are given the report.
