e-Trike

By concepting the e-trike, we wished to restyle the concept of the recumbent trike. Our main goal was to combine pleasure and thrill in a unique and ecological vehicle! With this model, we precisely focused on realism and we considered every detail even the smallest ones. Sometimes we have been inspired by existing concepts and at some other moments we have followed our creative instinct or our own dreams. But in both case, we have taken time to model each part of this assembly we are presenting. We have been largely inspired by motorsports and particularly by Formula1. You will notice it easily, some of the elements or technical solution we designed have an sporty overtone from high-level motorsport. The driving position, the seat and the steering wheel have the role to remind it to the driver. The pleasure is axed on the driving feelings of the e-trike. We bottomed the gravity point the lowest possible to give that the driver can feel the speed. Our state-of-the-art directional system enhance also this feeling : A classic system which orientate the wheels is mixted with the frame inclination thanks to the centrifugal force. Performance has always been a common thread of this project too. It is present in the equipment as well as in the first layer of the model. Not only did we desire to create a sport-shaped trike but also a truly effective vehicle. - Double triangulation suspensions reproduce those used in F1. Its offer a driving comfort and a high fiability. - We chose to put hydraulic disk brakes because its are more performant as simple disk brakes or brake pads. - Materials play also an important role as the mass optimization is crucial. Finally, eco-friendship is a criteria that must be included nowadays in every innovative project and we thought from the beginning to a electric assisted vehicle. The e-Trike is powered by two batteries, rechargeable on the common sector. Hence this trike is accessible and destined to every thrill lover.
