PROJECT TIMELINE
Efficar is a electric powered vehicle designed mostly suitable for city road conditions provided with 2-seater and 4-wheeled vehicle.Initially this project design starts with designing of chassis then to surface modelling and solid modelling in solidworks with dimensions of 120 x 52 inch and designed with all the features includes in it like a normal 4-wheeled vehicle.While designing the vehicle,most of the design parameters are based on the aesthetics and ergonomics. This efficar uses not only electrical energy but also solar energy by mounting the solar panel at the back of the vehicle (above the boot space at an angle of 45 degrees to top roll guage).It consists of battery compartment, boot space, passenger cabin and it runs with BLDC(Brush less DC)motor with maximum speed of 60 kmph and maximum run time of 4 hr 28 min at full load condition.The batteries are placed in front of the driver cabin and boot space is provided at the back of driver cabin with all safety measures and better features.
