GLOBAL STOP VALVE

A globe valve is a type of valve used for regulating the water flow in a pipeline. It consists of a Hand wheel, Movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat valve in an enclosed valve body. Has the hand wheel is rotated in clockwise direction it pulls up the movable disk, this allows the release of water into the valve, the degree to which the disk is raised from the valve seat regulates the quantity of water discharged. If the hand wheel rotates in anti clock wise direction, it reduces the clearance between the movable disk and seat valve, this cut down the quantum of water flow and ultimately cuts off the water supply completely once the disk engages the seat valve.
