Introduction                    Today’s world facing lot of problem regarding health, we now that from starting of this year we facing to Covid-19.It is big disaster in this decay. Also there is need of Ventilator for Covid-19 patient, and country like India needs Ventilator in bulk quantity with low prize so we decided to Design a Low cost Mechanical ventilator. Need of Project                 A mechanical ventilator is an automatic machine designed to provide all or part of the work the body must do to move gas into and out of the lungs. The act of moving air into and out of the lungs is called breathing, or, more formally, ventilation.                 It can be used as a short-term measure, for example during an operation or critical illness (often in the setting of an intensive-care unit) . It may be used at home or in a nursing or rehabilitation institution if patients have chronic illnesses that require long-term ventilatory assistance. Due to the anatomy of the human pharynk,larynx and esophagus and the circumstances for which ventilation is needed, additional measures are often required to secure the airway. during positive-pressure ventilation in order to allow unimpeded passage of air into the trachea and avoid air passing into the esophagus and stomach. The common method is by insrtion of a tube into the trachea:  intubation, which provides a clear route for the air. This can be either an endotracheal tube , inserted through the natural openings of mouth or nose, or a tracheostomy. inserted through an artificial opening in the neck. In other circumstances simple airway manoeuvres , an  oropharyngeal airway or laryngeal mask airway. may be employed. If the patient is able to protect his/her own airway and non invasive ventilation  or  negative pressure ventilation is used then an airway adjunct  may not be needed. Innovation             Our project consist of lot of innovation like we change all design of traditional ventilator without changing any single Output. Like we not tolerate with Ventilator control parameter like PEEP, Pressure, Discharge, inspiratory time, peak flow, flow cycle.           Also we think about shape optimization in this project also we made most of part hollow for weight reduction finally results it portable.           And it works on 12V DC motor is there is less electrical supply, and whole system is compact in nature. Also control of System is very easy as compare to traditional ventilator.           We use material like fibre, Aluminium bar PMDC Motor with controller with differ, Ball joint we know this are the low cost material so we can manufacture this Ventilator up to 15 to 20 thousand and it is essential for the society.
