Remote Observatory

Hi, I'm Antonio, I'm graduated in Automation Engineering and I have an innate passion for technology and astronomy. I'm meber of the amateur astronomer association Unione Astrofili Napoletani. from many years I have been looking at the sky at the astronomical observatory of Capodimonte (Naples) near my home with my friends of the association but we need to observe the sky for many hours of night away from their homes.  We came up the idea of designing a Remote Observatory! Then I designed a wooden structure with a sliding roof and a steel base that allows leveling the floor. The structure, after a further upgrade of the project, now is under construction; Will be equipped with a Remote control system that opens the roof and hosts inside it a telescope with ccd camera and pointing system.
