Simulation of air blast load on square honeycomb sandwich panel

Sandwich panel can be used against the blast load because it will give less deformation as compared to a solid plate of same equivalent mass. This project shows the deformation of a square honeycomb sandwich panel aginst blast load of 1kg TNT mass. The whole sandwich panel is made up of super-austenitic stainless alloy. Sandwich panel consists of two solid plate and a square honeycomb core which is shell type. A graph has been uploaded which shows the deformation of front face of top plate and back face of bottom plate under 1kg TNT blast.
