ABOUT
PROJECT TIMELINE
The purpose of this project is to generate rotative movement from the heat of a candle. With this model it is also possible to generate electric energy if we put a magnet on the piston and we roll copper wire on the top (firstly made to dissipate heat). This stirling engine is specifically made to be printed on 3D with the assembling of differents bodies. The joints will be screwed when there is a hole and joined with glue in the other cases. There is a flywheel to store energy, this wheel will be upgraded by putting some screws to gain mass. There are two bodies with less transparency, these will not be printed like the others because of the heat generated from the candle. Instead of plastic, these bodies will be from glass.
