TV TOWER

Hello! My name is Andrey Chauskin, I'm 25 and I'm finishing my PhD degree in structural mechanics at Volgograd State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Volgograd, Russia). I'm also a research associate at the research and development centre, where I'm focusing on the calculation of unique and technically challenging buildings and structures. In the framework of my thesis I created a project of a multifunctional TV tower of a combined type consisting of a hyperbolic steel shell (similar to the Shukhov tower) and a reinforced concrete core. I used SolidWorks and Abaqus software for stress-strain analysis of supporting structures, dynamic performance analysis, evaluating aerodynamic modeling and 3D models development.  Currently I'm using the Abaqus software for analyzing the dynamic behavior of structures from time dependence under maximum credible earthquake (using CDP model)
