Survilife is made for a competition i Malaysia, Organised by IME Technologies, a reseller in Malaysia. The theme for the project is Natural Disaster. This kit is developed to provide electricity generation to sustain minor electrical equipment with 12V output, sound and lighting capabilities through built in lamps with various modes to signal rescuers about the condition of victims trapped in accidents such as floods. The design is made to be waterproof and shock proof. The project is done entirely using SOLIDWORKS platform. Various methods were used to build the project, including surfacing, advanced modelling technique such as indent, fastener features as well as simulation to validate the design. This is the very first itteration of the product. The concept generation is fairly simple. We thought of many of the electrical supply would be cut off during a flood or a typhoon. People would be stranded for days, and supply of energy are running low. Reliance on batteries does not last when most dry cell batteries only last for 30-40 hours, and power bank are only able to hold charge for 2-3 days. So by combing a generator with a power backup, we hope to be able to bridge the gap, enables victims to be able to charge their phone and request for help.
