PLMCC: Product Lifecycle Management Competency Centre

The PLMCC is training on various aspect of product development using PLM Solutions. The centre is a partnership between CPUT, Dassault Systèmes and French Ministry of Education.

The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering with around 2000 students and 110 staff is internationally renowned for its industry relevant high impact research and globally competitive graduates, with research performance ranked above world standard. The School is deeply engaged with industry both in Australia and internationally in the key disciplines of Aerospace and Aviation Engineering, Manufacturing and Materials Engineering, and Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) is a key area of strength in the School that is integrated across all programs and research concentrations where all students are exposed to in-depth CAE studies through project based learning (PBL), design and analysis. We have partnered with Dassault Systemes to develop the Master of Engineering (Integrated Computer Aided Engineering Design) that will be offered through collaborative project based learning utilising the RMIT Advanced Manufacturing Precinct (AMP).
